Day 3 of the Basketball Development League (BDL) – Mumbai Edition, organised by Olympia Sportz & Events at VIBGYOR High, Goregaon, was dedicated entirely to the girls’ category, with three competitive encounters showcasing skill, confidence and determination.
Mumbai Suburbs RR Nova continued their impressive run with a 33-27 victory over South Mumbai Maniacs. Rubaab Khan was named Player of the Match for her standout contribution as RR Nova maintained their unbeaten record.
In another closely fought contest, Raigad Crossers edged past Mumbai Snipers 35-31. Tiana Sequeira earned Player of the Match honours for her impactful performance in a game that went down to the wire.
The final game saw ND Bhayandar Sparks register a convincing 44-27 win over Sports Striders Borivali. Saisha Chaudhury was named Player of the Match after helping her team secure a commanding victory.
With three matches producing plenty of action, Day 3 once again highlighted the growing depth and competitive spirit of girls’ basketball at the BDL. As the league progresses, the young players continue to make their mark on the court.
