The league stage of the Basketball Development League (BDL) – Mumbai Edition has officially come to an end, setting the stage for an exciting knockout phase.
Organised by Olympia Sportz & Events at VIBGYOR High, Goregaon West, the final day of league action featured three competitive boys’ basketball matches, with teams fighting to finish their league campaigns on a winning note and strengthen their position heading into the knockouts.
Mumbai Snipers Secure a 77–56 Victory
In the opening encounter of the day, Mumbai Snipers produced a strong performance to defeat Pune Global Sports 77–56.
The Snipers maintained their composure throughout the contest and delivered an impressive all-round performance to close their league campaign with a convincing victory.
Thane Pronets Edge Past JB Navi Mumbai
The second game of the day delivered a much closer contest as Thane Pronets narrowly defeated JB Navi Mumbai 63–59.
With just four points separating the two teams at the final buzzer, the game showcased the competitive spirit and intensity that has defined the BDL Mumbai Edition throughout the league stage.
Raigad Crossers Finish with an Impressive Win
The final league game saw Raigad Crossers register an impressive 83–72 victory over South Mumbai Maniac.
Both teams battled hard in the final league fixture, but Raigad Crossers found the momentum needed to secure the win and finish the league stage on a high.
Six Days of Competitive Basketball Come to a Close
With the final league fixtures now completed, six days of competitive basketball have brought the participating teams one step closer to the BDL Mumbai Edition championship.
The league stage has provided young basketball players with an opportunity to compete at a high level, gain valuable match experience and showcase their skills against strong opposition.
But the tournament is far from over.
